Ubuntu

Going to really start learning linux its about time.
I have decided to do that by using a distro i haven’t used before.
To that end I am going to look at Ubuntu. Its based on debian which is
far removed from Redhat/Fedora which i’m used to

Dual Boot

Because of some mess ups in windows recently, i’m thinking of dual
booting all of my x86 systems. I’ll be dual booting with some linux distro
and win xp.

MSCE??

I’m realizing that i use windows daily but don’t really know jack shit
about the inner workings. I’m on the path where i want to learn about a system
and/or show that i know something about it by getting some sort of certificate.
This is not going to be a read/memorize/pass test type of situation. I have
enough systems where i should have/show more experience. It won’t be enterprise
experience but some experience is better than none.
